This game cannot come fast enough for me.
Mass Effect is possibly my favorite game from Bioware, which is probably my favorite game design company.
It is definitely up there with Fallout 2, Starcraft, Knights of the Old Republic, Icewind Dale and Baldur’s Gate 2 (two of those are Bioware games, and two of those are from Bioware’s predecessors / mentors, Black Isle (of whom many of those designers moved on to Obsidian.))
If you haven’t played Mass Effect yet, but you like RPGs or sci-fi games (or, especially, if you have enjoyed previous Bioware games) I cannot recommend this game enough.

Jim Yoho is the owner of In Genre, Wausau Comics, and JAY Entertainment and he maintains the site as well as adding the occasional article or review of his own. He often goes by Merin online, from way back in the BBS days of dial-up modems even.
