But Hal Jordan? Hal isn't the joking type. Maybe Reynolds can play a more serious, more conservative, more militaristic guy - but he's damn good at the sarcastic funny guys so I think this may be a waste of his talents. Better than Jack Black, at least. I think he’s exactly the actor I’d cast as Wade Wilson / Deadpool.

I think he did great on the scenes in the Wolverine movie where they let him play as Wade Wilson, despite that they turned Deadpool into at the end. He's a pretty entertaining guy, and at the very least he's in good shape, but I'm not sure if he's right for Deadpool.
