UPDATES! – with continuing updates below the more line as they develop!
Bioware had a counter on their site counting down until, well, right now – 11 am CST on March 29th.
The announcement was billed as a Bioware Community event!
What’s all the excitement about?
I’ll keep you posted when the site comes back up!
UPDATE: It’s the Bioware Bazaar, a series of contests designed to look at online auctions. Starting in early April.

UPDATE 2: The community seems pretty ticked off, even those who aren’t excluded. And it’s spreading across the interwebs!

This is some bad PR – even the best articles state the reveal as underwhelming.

Stupid contest.
It seems to have been at least a poorly planned move for Bioware at this point-
of course, there hasn’t been a game release or announcement on those forums that didn’t have a large amount of negative feedback.
Difference is this time I see few people at all even TRYING to defend Bioware. Myself included.
But that could be just because I hate Twitter.
