Head to the link to check out all seven of the new Before Watchmen covers, as well as the writers and artists tackling each series. I’m particularly enthused about Darwyn Cooke’s writing/artistry on the Minutemen and his writing on the Silk Spectre. Cooke’s artwork has always had a very old school feel about it, so using it to depict heroes from the 40′s is the perfect fit. As far as my personal feelings on the project overall, I think it’s a huge gamble on DC’s part. If these books don’t do well, they’ll never live it down. What do you think?
